Make the Kids' Natural Kitchen

Event date:

All budding carpenters and inventors, come and help us create our Kids’ Natural Play Kitchen. We will be making a play stove, benches, cupboards and more in our new Kids Kitchen just to the right of the BPCG main entrance.

We will be using logs, re-usable wood, and other natural and found materials to make this lovely new space for children.

Here kids will be able to experiment with natural materials – pouring, decanting, stirring, touching, mixing. All the stuff they love! Lots of imaginary play too and a chance to develop motor skills too – and all in a safe outdoor space.

We’d love to have your help in creating our Natural Kitchen for Local Kids.

Suitable for any creative adults and especially those handy with carpentry tools! If you have children aged 7+, bring them along as there will be plenty of smaller decorative jobs such as decorating the back board, making a play clock, painting the play stove, painting pebbles to look like food and utensils, and more.
